Jonathan is the Design Principal within the Exhibits Team, prior to which he served as Vice President of Exhibit Services at the Children's Museum of Denver. His specific skills and experience include comprehensive digital design capabilities balanced with a passion for hands-on, physical fabrication. As a former public school teacher and father of two, Jonathan continues to practice the enthusiastic patience necessary to help curious minds engage our wondrous world. Jonathan has a degree in history from Cornell University and a master’s in architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Kyle Talbott

kyle talbott

Kyle is Senior Designer and Researcher with the Exhibits Team. He was consulting designer and geometer for the Altitude exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Denver Marsico Campus. Kyle has contributed to the design of numerous educational exhibits, curated art exhibits and installations, and in 2017 he led the design of one of the Midwest’s largest permanent exhibits of bonsai, located at the Bradley Foundation’s Lynden Sculpture Garden. His work with outdoor exhibits began in 2008 with the design of the Menomonee Valley Park Pavilion in collaboration with Berlin-based architect Barkow/Leibinger. Prior to his museum and installation work, Kyle led a research and development team at the international architecture firm NBBJ, where he explored the potential of emerging digital technologies and contributed to the design of arts and education buildings ranging from student centers to musical performance venues.

Kerri Atter

kerri atter

Kerri serves as Special Projects Manager where her role includes coordinating with designers, architects, artists, municipal partners, museum leadership and board of directors. Kerri enjoys managing the design development phases, construction planning, construction, and post construction work. Prior to joining the Exhibits Team, Kerri spent 20 years working in the museum and cultural fields serving as curator, director, designer, and project manager. Her career includes: Director/Curator of the Molly Brown House Museum; freelance curator for Denver International Airport and Denver Arts and Venues, and Adjunct Professor of Museum Studies at the University of Denver. She holds a degree in classical archaeology from Syracuse University and a master's in museum studies from Harvard University. She is also the mother of 2 very active young children who think Mom has the coolest job in the world!

Mike Yankovich

mike yankovich

Overseeing both the Exhibits Team and The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, Mike applies his 20+ years in the museum field with great enthusiasm and expertise. Over his career, Mike has served in a number of capacities including Director of Education, Vice President of Guest Experience, and Chief Operating Officer. In each position he has been a significant catalyst for growth and innovation. His focus on developing high-quality, interactive exhibits and educational programs has helped position the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus as the community’s leading informal learning institution for young children. In May 2011, Mike was selected as one of five Livingston Fellows, a prestigious Bonfils-Stanton Foundation effort to develop the skills of promising nonprofit leaders. In addition, Mike chairs the board of the Denver Preschool Program and has served as board president for the Association of Children’s Museums. Mike has also benefited from additional on-the-job experience as he and his wife, Jennifer, have enjoyed playing and learning with their daughter Holly.
